The stone crystallization is a method of marble
polishing which improve its surface aspect.

It consists in causing a chemical reaction on the
surface, with pesticides on marble; a single-plate
machine and steel wool allows the sandpapering of the
  marble.

Crystallization protects the marble while preserving the
color and the brightness of the stone.

It is thanks to advanced techniques in the field of the
restoration of marbles and stones that marble technical built
its reputation.
Not even the best polished floor can compete with a crystallized floor
surface. We achieve a real mirror appearance with a fascinating aesthetic
effect. Dust has nowhere to adhere, maintenance time will be reduced to a
minimum.

Crystallization utilizes a special polishing machine and a chemical agent
that restores the marble to its original luster. This system actually polishes
the surface of the marble itself, leaving no chemical residue that requires
stripping.
There is nothing left on the surface of the marble to yellow or peel.

Crystallization is not only cost-effective, it is low in maintenance.
The process hardens marble surface and make it scuff and stains resistant.

The term crystallization has entered the language of the marble polishing field
to describe a process used polish and maintain a shine on marble surfaces.

The crystallization process consists of spraying a fluid onto the marble floor and
buffing it in with steel wool under a buffing machine.

The steel wool generates heat through abrasion and the chemical reacts with the
marble, producing a new compound on the surface of the stone.

This procedure protects the surface of the stone, adds shine and may even
harden the stone, increasing its wear.

Honing

The high shine observed on stone is the result of smoothing it with fine abrasives.
Most will use diamond abrasives to hone the stone, then switch to a powdered abrasive
to achieve the final polish.

The abrasive powder is worked into the stone with a floor machine using water and
cloth or polyester fiber pads. The powder is worked into a slurry until a polish is
achieved.

Removing the slurry with a wet VAX or mop and rinses the floor to remove excess
powder. It is a relatively simple procedure, but requires a great deal of practice.

What is crystallization?
Crystallization is a chemical transformation of the floor
surface, similar to the conventional polishing of marble at
the factory.

A portable machine incorporates the polishing compounds
on a clean, dry surface (stripped of wax or sealer) to produce
a renewed floor surface.
Who uses crystallization?
Crystallization is for indoor use only and finds practical
application at all levels. In professional and public buildings,
malls, offices, hotels and private homes.

Grinding
Grinding is the process by which the surface is sanded by the use of abrasives
(diamond discs) to remove large stocks of the stone. This process is usually
recommended when stone tiles contain lip page (uneven tiles). It is also
recommended when deep stains and scratches occur or when one desires a
completely floor.
Honing is the process of smoothing the stone with the use of abrasives (diamond
discs). Honing is performed to remove scratches but will not remove lip page
(uneven tiles). It can, however, round the edges of the stone, giving a smoother
finish to the edge.
